Held from 28th of December to 2nd January, at Camp Morley, Clark's Beach, Auckland.
The speakers were:
Andrew Young
Andrew is currently principal of Grace Theological College in Auckland.
Andrew brought us messages from Paul's letter to the Colossian church.
Personally, (Dan Willis here, by-the-way) I felt challenged by the Word to make an effort not to simply agree that I'm a Christian, and to thank God for saving me, but to actually go out and live it in my life. Since Christ has made all things and is in control of all things, we should seek to relate every single aspect of our life,(corporately, not just as individuals) to Christ, and glorify Him in all things.
Azriel Gray
Azriel Gray has just completed two years of study at Grace Theological College. Az and his wife Melissa are moving to Gore to take up pastorship of a small church there.
Az brought us messages from the life of Abraham.
In the life of Abraham, we can really see how God is entirely trustworthy, and will always keep his promises, even when we were unfaithful.
Study Groups
These were a valuable time of learning through discussion on questions relating to the messages, and also through sharing how we can apply the things we have learnt to our everyday lives.
